About the blog
What does “Stan” mean?
Stan can mean a lot of different things, but when it always comes down to is that “stans” are usually big fans of something or someone. Some claim stan is “fan + stalker” but the word was first used by Eminem, in the very popular song “Stan” where he raps about a huge fan who kills himself over the fact that Eminem doesn’t write him back. Nowadays, Eminem fans are usually called “stans”, as well.
The Stan Confessions likes to think that the word is a little more general than Eminem fanbase and can be used for all fandoms of any kind.
Where can I confess?
You can do that both in the Ask Box or in the Submission Box, both are fine. Both boxes will be explained further.
What is the ask box for?
The ask box is a box where you can send in your confession(s). But, its also still an ask box, you can ask me (the admin) anything you want in there.
What is the submission box for?
The submission box is a box where you can also send in confessions.
If both ask box and submission box are used to send in our confession(s), what is the difference?
The biggest difference is the fact that you can’t send in anonymously in the submission box. So if you want to send in the confession anonymously, you have to do it in the ask box.
The other difference is that the submission box allows you to post bigger confessions. However, in the guidelines, you can read that the confessions are restricted to 400 characters. Over that won’t be allowed, and won’t be posted.
The submission box also allows you to add your own photo to the confession, if you would like that.
What is the guidelines page about?
This page is basically the page with all the rules. Please read the guidelines before you submit your first confession. If you don’t, and your confession is not getting posted, chances are you violated the guidelines.
What is the Tags page when is it updated?
The tag page is a simple tool to help you find your confession by categories. e.g. if you’ve confessed about Britney Spears and you’re wondering if your confession has already been posted yet, you can look in the tags page and find her tag there, and search through the tag. I’d say: try it!
It’s updated as often as I can, but it takes a lot of time and efford to update it, and if there is something I lack of - it is time. So be a little patient, please.
About the Confessions
When will my confession be posted?
As soon as possible, of course. Though, there is a difference between Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears related confessions and other confessions, that aren’t related.
Why is there a difference between those confessions?
Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera confessions are the most frequently submitted confessions. To make sure that this blog doesn’t become just about those three artists, I post those confessions more gradually than others.
Why isn’t my confession posted yet?
There can be several reasons.
Most of the time, you just have to be a little more patient. This is a very popular blog, and unfortunaly, this is not my (the admin) job. Besides making confessions, I still have a personal life, as well.
That does not mean that I don’t enjoy making confessions and that I try my best to make them all within a reasonable time. But just be a little patient!
Often, your confession is already been made but in the queue. If you think thats the case, you can always ask me, and then I’ll try to tell you when exactly its going to be posted.
But, if your confession isn’t posted yet, you might have violated the guidelines. They’re guidelines for a reason. Please read the guidelines before you submit your first confession.
And last, but not least, there is a small chance that something might have gone wrong with the confession. I sometimes get confessions that only include a subject/title, and not the actual confession. I don’t know why, but it happens. Those chances are very slim though.
Either way - you’re always allowed to ask me why I think your confession hasn’t been posted yet.
How do I confess?
Best case scenario, you confess in the ask or submission box and you start your confession with “Confession:”. This way, I can’t mistake your confession for anything else (like a comment or a question). I prefer text confessions.
Can I also include photos in my submission and will you use it to make the confession?
Yes, you can either add a link to a photo, or you can add the photo in the post through the “insert image” button.
However, please note that the photo you want me to use is big enough and of good quality.
I will always use your photo to make the confession but if it is not big enough, for example, it might not look right in the confession.
However, for some reason I might not be able to use your confession because the link doesn’t work, or the picture doesn’t load, etc;… if that happens, I will always mention this in the caption of the confession.
Can I send in my own confession (a confession that is already made)?
Yes, you can, but this does not mean that I will post it faster.

I’m Emily, girl, 21 and I’m from Belgium.
Do you ever get frustrated or angry by some confessions because you don’t agree with them?
I don’t know what confessions I would be mad about. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I don’t always agree with every confession. But I let it go, easily. Its just a blog, really. I mean, compared to my personal life, it is still just a blog.
How many followers do you have?
It changes everyday, but now, there are more than 3,000 followers, and growing. It’s doing pretty good!
How many visitors do you have each day?
This fluctuates from 400 to 700 visitors each day.
Do you have a personal blog, if so what is it?
I do, you can visit it here. I just reblog whatever I like.
Who do you stan for?
I obviously stan for Britney Spears, but I’m a fan of the most frequently confessed artists as well, I have several albums of Gaga, Christina Aguilera and Madonna. Besides the most frequently posted artists, music wise I’m also fan of plenty of other genres and artists. But if you’ve visited my personal blog, you can see that I’m also very interested in several television shows.
You can always ask me questions about who or what I like, etc.
Are you bias sometimes?
I really try my hardest not to be.
Do you have anyone that helps you with making the confessions?
I do, I currently have three people I can relay on for making confessions from time to time. They’re all doing a fantastic job!
Do you need/ want more help, if so, how can I apply?
